The project is cemented in our belief that awareness of and access to wild places are vital to preserving them. We believe that by connecting people with the land around them, our project will awaken people to the importance of protecting the wilderness.

The goals of the project are to promote the sport of canyoneering, to raise awareness of the significance of wilderness waterways and to contribute to the canyoneering community. To reach these goals, we have assembled a team of canyoneers to research, explore and establish three spectacular new canyoneering routes in the Sierra Nevada and a crew of filmmakers to document the ten-week expedition.
